Frequently Asked Questions

It’s a comprehensive evaluation of your pet’s overall well-being, comfort, and happiness, conducted by professionals, to guide decisions related to their care, especially as they age or face health challenges.

Assessing your pet in their familiar environment allows for a more genuine insight into their daily life, capturing their natural behavior, comfort, and routine without the stress of unfamiliar settings.

Typically, the assessment can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours, but this can vary depending on the specific needs and conditions of your pet.

Our evaluation encompasses various aspects such as your pet’s physical health, pain levels, mobility, appetite, hydration, behavior, and overall happiness.

It provides insights into areas where your pet might be experiencing discomfort or challenges, allowing you to make informed decisions about potential treatments, modifications in care, or even end-of-life considerations.

While it largely depends on the pet’s health and age, it’s advisable to conduct assessments annually for senior pets or those with chronic health conditions. However, any sudden changes in behavior or health should prompt an immediate evaluation.

Our primary aim is to ensure minimal stress for your pet. Conducting the assessment at home helps in this regard, as they remain in familiar surroundings. Our professionals are trained to carry out evaluations with utmost sensitivity and care.

No special preparations are typically needed. However, keeping a log of any unusual behaviors, changes in appetite, mobility challenges, or any other concerns can provide valuable insights during the evaluation.

Yes, after our evaluation, we provide a comprehensive report detailing our findings, along with any recommendations to enhance your pet’s quality of life.

Absolutely! The Quality of Life Assessment complements veterinary advice. Sharing our findings with your vet can aid in tailored treatment plans and overall care strategies for your pet.
